Salem Neighborhood Inspection

I am bringing back Neighborhood Inspections! We did these years ago and they are a total blast. Ever wanted to visit a cool city but just haven't had the time? Then come out and "inspect" Salem - my hometown - and meet fun people in the process. I own my own walking tour business, so I'll be giving a complimentary walking tour at a casual pace.

We will meet at 11:00 at the Visitor's Center. It is a short walk from the train (the commuter rail runs pretty often from North Station on Saturdays). After meeting, we will walk down the Essex Walking Mall, stopping at the shops and sights along the way, until we reach Washington St.

Cross Washington St, check out Samantha statue from Bewitched

12:30 Lunch at Gulu Gulu

2:00 Continue down Essex St, check out Hex

Stop at the Witch House, tour through McIntyre district, back down Chestnut St. Follow down to Washington St, stop at Joshua Ward House - the "most haunted house in Salem"

3:00 - Cross Washington St, head down Front St for more shopping. Dessert/Ice cream at Maria's Sweet Somethings

Continue to the oldest cemetery in Salem, the 1637 Burial Ground

To round out the day, we will stroll over to a local restaurant to relax with a drink or two - TBA

Looking forward to showing off my hometown, and favorite city, to fun new friends!

don't really trust the weather, but since I read you will repeat this in june, I'll rather do it then. Anyway I admire what you are raising money for. If you need help of any kind, let me know, I would be happy to help

This is a free event, but I'm hoping that you all might be willing to help me raise money for the Chicago Marathon. I'm running to raise money for children's cancer research, specifically a one year old baby in Salem named Mason. He is suffering from leukemia. I'll be collecting any donations during the day. Thank you!!!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
