Indoor Rock Climbing/Belaying Class

Climb Iowa has belaying classes on weekends. The class is $35.00 and includes equipment rental and full day of climbing. It is a short and fun class that teaches the right way to belay and rest while climbing. They have 4-5 automatic belay lanes you can use but most of the climbing lanes you need someone to belay. After the class is over you can belay for any other climber that has also taken the class. They have multiple times so I just picked one. If another time would work better for anyone let me know.
Belaying is the act of taking up slack in the rope as a climber ascends. Although this class is intended for beginners, belaying is a skill that all climbers use throughout their climbing lives.

I just talked to Climb Iowa and they are actually going to have a competition on Saturday but are giving the class on Sunday. Did anyone want to go to the Sunday class at 11:00?

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
