Reel Big Fish FREE concert!

Reel Big Fish is one of the most awesome skapunk bands in the world.  They've been busy touring internationally, and now they're coming to Baltimore for a FREE concert at Power Plant Live.

Skapunk is high-energy dance music that combines fast kick drums, guitars, a slamming horn section and edgy lyrics.  If you've never heard it, check it out.  But of course, the YouTubes can't possibly do it justice--Power Plant Live is going to be NUTS for this concert!  The energy level will be insane!  You'll probably either love it or hate it, but you owe it to yourself to give it a try :-)

I've arranged for special happy hour pricing at Luckies Liquors at Power Plant Live prior to the concert.  Our pricing is:

   $2 domestic cans
   $4 call cocktails
   $5 top shelf cocktails
   Half-price appetizers

When you get to Power Plant Live, come to Luckies Tavern, check in with the host stand, tell them you're with "Allen/Meetup", then get a wristband and get your parking validated.  Then head back to Luckies Liquors (the bar in back where the stage is).  That's where we'll be.  The special drink pricing is only good at Luckies Liquors and only good if you have a wristband.

Validated parking is $5 at the Pier V garage on Pratt Street.  Bring your ticket with you to get it validated at Luckies.

The music starts nominally at 8 pm, but I plan to get there around 6 pm.  You should plan to get there (parked and sitting at the bar) no later than 7 pm.

Note that Power Plant Live is in the touristy part of Baltimore.  It's as safe as anywhere.  You don't have to drive through "The Wire" to get there, so there's no excuse to not come :-)

I'll send out my cell # to everyone prior to the event so you can call if you have trouble finding us.

Hope to see you there!  Come ready to party! :-)
