So you think October isn't spooky enough?
Come and see "Dracula" played in old ruins in Ellicott City. The Vampire Count from Transylvania might be scary enough, but the old ruins of castle have lots of dark, hiding places...
Dracula is performed by Chesapeake Shakespeare Company. The artists are committed to “changing how people think about Shakespeare,” and produce shows that allow audience to connect to classic works in whole new ways- ways that are fresh, innovative and sustainable. They vividly interact with audience and vice versa.
It's going to be late October night and it might get chilly, please dress accordingly. Also, we will be walking around the ruins as part of the show. Bring a flashlight. Alcohol and food allowed in the ruins!!! There is an intermission during which you can order all of the above.
Tickets are sold out. If you haven't purchased you're ticket, you are out of luck I'm afraid. If you have a ticket and can't go, please post a comment as I think a few folks weren't able to get tickets.
Parking is at the Howard County Courthouse. We'll meet in the parking lot and head up the hill to the ruins. I will meet you at the little pavilion near the courthouse. Be there at 7.15.
Note the event is rain or shine.
It is going to be a lot of fun! See you there! Thanks to Sylwia for inspiring this night out.
