Sydney Social Out & About is a just-for-fun, social organization for people of all ages. We are not a dating service, but we do sponsor events and activities which provide the opportunity for you to meet and socialize with other singles in this age group.

This year we have asked that our members give a donation towards our advertising on Meetup. If you would like to do this please see our link on the left side of the page under Membership Dues.

Please note once you have paid you will notified that your now a "Premium Member" as a special thank you for giving us a donation to keep our group being advertised on Meetup.com.

We had a couple who got married from meeting each other on this group -  You never know who you can meet out there and we do support "Single Events" throughout the year.

The Founder & Organizer is Vivienne who has always had a passion in bringing others together since 2006. In her spare time she also works as a Volunteer Events Assistant to"Bring Back Old Sydney Town" and is an active member of her local historical society.

Please do not click I'm going unless your 100% committed to attend. I'm going does not mean, I'm thinking about it or I'll see how it goes! It means you are 100% committed in attending the meetup!

Please do not add yourself to a wait list and forget about it! Remove yourself from the wait list and allow other members who are on the waiting list to attend. Too many members miss out because you were too lazy to update it your status.

It is important that you remove yourself immediately if you can no longer attend any meetups.

When filling out a Profile please write your interests and why you want to join the group with a clear precise photo of yourself. All profiles that don't have this will be declined.

If you do a No Show three times in a row you will be removed and banned from the group on a permanent basis.
