13th Annual Salem & Beverly Lions Bowl Off

The Salem and Beverly Lions Clubs will co-sponsor the 13th Annual Lions Clubs Bowl-Off on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at 1:00PM at the Beverly Bowl-O-Mat, 100 River Street, Beverly, MA.  This is a fund raiser you can make a donation and come bowl for the fun. This is not a Bowl-A-Thon. This is a great opportunity to have some fun and raise some "FUND's" for the Salem and Beverly Lions Charities. Participants bowl in just one string and can bowl for either the Purple Knights - Captain is Don Armell or the Golden Retrievers which I am the Captain. There are awards presented but the most important goal is to raise some funds and have some fun. The Presidents of the 2 clubs also promise their will be no gutter balls so you don't have to be an experienced bowler. Children are more than welcome   There is a pledge sheet that I can email once you since up. All that is asked is that you get pledges for Site Awariness from your Family and Friends & come have some fun. Since I am the Captain and we will be the Golden Retrievers all I ask you to do is where something funky and Gold :) This really is a fun afternoon and only involves about 1-2 hours of your time. There's no football or March Madness basketball or Red Sox games to keep you in front of the TV. Why not get out and get a little exercise and have some fun with a group of fellow Lions and meet some new friends.   If you need more information contact Katie Sirois @ [masked] or my cell @[masked]-5768.     Hope to see you there

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
