Rising-Songs of Hope and Recovery 5/14 at 6:45 pm Johnny D's

From Johnny D's:

In an effort to help in any way we can, Johnny D's is organizing "Rising - Songs Of Hope & Recovery" a benefit for the victims of the tragic Boston Marathon bombings. Tickets here.
Please plan on attending this very special event on Tue 5/14 at 7:00. We'll update you on all the performers as the growing list continues to grow! Many Boston singer/songwriters and bands are signing on so this will be a revolving stage of great acts jumping up to do a couple of songs. We'll have loads of raffle prizes from very generous businesses too. Tickets will go onsale this Friday at 9am. Proceeds will benefit The One Fund. You can donate here: http://onefundboston.org.
The Johnny D's extended family wish to express our heartfelt condolences to everyone that lost loved ones and friends and to let the injured know we're pulling for your recoveries. Stay strong Boston!

Tickets should be obtained here($15 + service fee):

I have obtained a General Admission ticket. They have table seating available, but I won't be going that route. You certainly welcome to obtain tables if bringing a group.

An email has been sent with my cell phone# to those currently (1:50pm) signed up. I'll try to be behind the ticket stand. After entering and dealing with the ticket attendee, turn left down the 1st ramp, and turn left again. Hopefully there will be space there. Thx!!

it would be really nice if the "service fee" were also donated to the effort - but I don't know if Ticketmaster is putting aside its' greed for this effort.

One Fund Boston is up to 20 MILLION DOLLARS as of today!
I believe there are 50 people who have been severly injured.
Keep the cash coming in for them! It is so sad.
