Regina Russell's Tea Room & Post-Lunch

I went to this place several years ago and the readers are VERY accuratel...this is probably one of the most famous tea rooms in the New England area. Even if you don't believe in this stuff, it's a fun night and not too expensive. We'll meet up at the tea room, have some fun and then grab lunch in Quincy.

I called today for prices, and here's what I found out: Tarot and Palm readings start at $20 for 15 minutes, $32 for 30 minutes, and $36 for a private 30 minute reading (need an appointment ahead of time). They have an entire menu when you get there, including cards, palm reading, tea leaves, etc...

About the Tea Room: Regina Russell's started as a small family owned tea room, serving lunch with a psychic reading. At that time (1970), fortune telling was hidden in your kitchen or back room. It was all done secretly. Regina brought fortune telling out into the open and also out of big cities into suburbia. Lunch was discontinued after only a year because the readings became so popular, there was no time (or room) for lunch. The business was so novel it attracted feature writers from Boston newspapers and television producers from all over. They dubbed the tea room "A supermarket of Fortune Telling". Visitors have their choice of readings and readers. Readings include: tea leaves, tarot cards, regular cards, astrology, palm, jewelry, fire, sand, water and smoke readings. Regina Russell's employs only the best psychic readers. If they cannot be specific, they are not hired. Those hired are the same readers who are on the phones. Regina Russell's is a local business with only locally selected readers.

I'm sorry. I could have sworn I changed my RSVP to No this morning. I won't be there. I got a last minute call to help my parents.

I just called Tea Room, spoke with Grace and she said that they did not know about a large group arriving. Also, their prices are higher than what is posted.

Sorry, can't do it at noon on this day. Maybe in the future... (haha - future, fortune telling, get it?) .

Hello! I agree, they were very accurate and I would join you, but that day is the Braintree 4th of July parade (not too far from where you will be) and I am renting paddleboards at Sunset Lake on Safford Street, Braintree jus in case any of you want to come by and take a group lesson for y'all for $25pp and suggestively before the drinks. http://www.SUPSONAS.com Maybe 2pm? A carnival starts at 2pm at the high school and fireworks at 10pm at night on the lake. Have fun at the tea room!
