RiverFeast 2012 - Sponsored by WXRV 92.5 The River

Click the image above to access the 92.5 web site for more information and tickets.

Boston's own independent radio station, 92.5 The River, is again the sponsor of this year's RiverFeast, being held at the PEM in Salem, with proceeds going to The Greater Boston Food Bank. This is expected to be another complete sell out, so try to get tickets asap if you are thinking of going. Please note that this is a semi-formal event.

The entertainment is none other than Marshall Crenshaw &      JD McPherson

What a combination of an accomplished songwriter \ performer and an up-and-coming artist, both excelling in the classic roots of American rock-and-roll. In addition to this great entertainment right in the middle of the PEM, there is a full Thanksgiving dinner! With both the holiday meal and entertainment included, a portion of your ticket price is also going to assist TGBFB: http://gbfb.org/.

At $95+ I realize this is an expensive event, but let's see how many Social Fun members we can get out for a very fun night and to assist in a cause that will help those who are less fortunate.

Once you've purchased your ticket through The River's web site please update your RSVP.

Thanks Gary. For everyone else, I still have a ticket available for purchase. I can actually email it to you. Please let me know by Sunday, otherwise 92.5 said they will be able to purchase it and I'll be calling them Monday. Thanks!

As I am unable to attend, is anyone interested in buying my ticket? Total cost is $104.95, but I'd be willing to sell at $90 even and securely get you the ticket. Please let me know. And thanks to Gary again for taking over as event host.

There is dancing and the women do come dressed up (as do most of the guys).

Went 2 years ago. Was going to go last year but event sold out early. $95 may appear a lot but this is includes a very good white table-cloth dinner on top of the entertainment.
