Sing Messiah! at St. John Church, JP 12/22 @4pm

Description:

JP CONCERTS presents:

SING MESSIAH!, with featured soloists Von Bringhurst, soprano; Yakov Zamir, alto; Elijah Hopkin, tenor; James Dargan, bass; and Sarah Hager, organ.  

The audience is invited to sing the choruses along with the soloists.  There will be an intermission with food and drink after Part One; after which the audience is invited to continue to sing Parts Two and Three.  

This is the only uncut performance of Messiah in Boston scheduled for this season.

It is also the only performance with male soprano and alto as well as tenor and bass.  Costumes are optional but warmly recommended.  Scores provided thanks to Masterworks Chorale.  Tickets are $10 at the door.  

Generous contributions to the St. John's Capital Campaign will be separately and enthusiastically welcomed.

St. John's Church is located on the corner of Revere Street and Roanoke Avenue in Jamaica Plain. There is free parking curbside adjacent to St. John's on Revere Street and one side of Roanoke Ave. There is also free parking in the JP Public Parking Lot off Burroughs Street.

For public transportation, St. John's is a five-minute walk from the Green Street station on the Orange Line, as well as the #39 bus stop on Centre Street.
