New Member Mixer / Game Night in Back Bay

Remember when you made that New Year's resolution to make some new friends? Tonight will be your evening to shine. We'll be joining C&C for their first New Member Mixer of the year, and you're invited!

Tonight, we're going to break the ice with some card and party games! Whether you are playing Apples to Apples, Bananagrams or Jenga, we've found that games are quite effective at getting to know about one another. So feel to bring your favorite game!

This event will fill up, so be sure to RSVP once you know that you can make it!

HOW TO GET THERE

We'll be meeting in the rear of the Prudential Food Court. We'll be to the right of Pizzeria Regina.

Street parking on Boylston Street and the surrounding streets are available, but it is very limited. Your best best will be to park at the Prudential Center garage, $12 with validation at any store or food vendor. For more information about parking at Prudential Center, visit their parking rates page. A map showing the parking garage entrances is here.

If you are coming in via the subway, you have a number of great options:

  • Green Line: For 'E' trains only, please use Prudential Station on Huntington Avenue. For all other Green Line trains, please use Copley on Boylston Street at Dartmouth Street (next to the Boston Public Library) or Hynes Convention Center on Massachusetts Avenue at Newbury Street.
  • Orange Line or Commuter Rail: There's a direct underground connection between Copley Mall and Back Bay Station on the Orange and Purple Lines. From Copley Center you can cross the Copley Bridge into the Prudential Center.

    Hi All,
I'm your last minute new host for tonight as Tony is out sick. I have a limited amount of games, so please bring any games you'll want to play. I'll be bringing apples to apples and some other card games. See you tonight!

Any ideas on what kinds of games you'd like? Are you planning on having multiple stations/specific themes?

      January 17, 2013

It's really all up to what people bring and what people are interested in. With this number of people, party games are always a good idea. What likely will happen is people will break up into groups and play games they are interested. It's free flowing. So bring anything you're interested in.
