I love to dance...if the music moves me...I will dance! I love walking, biking and going to the gym for exercise. I used to ski but broke my leg and tore my meniscus in a ski accident and have not been out this past winter. I would like to overcome my fear and get back into it. I enjoy the usual ...dinner, drinks, movies blah, blah, blah...definitely looking to spruce things up...make some changes and live a bit more daring! Open to any suggestions ;) With regard to work...I just sold my business so I could return to the business of helping people hands on....I am a massage therapist. I found owning my own business was a lot of busy work and not enough hands on...no pun intended! I am also a yoga instructor but that was put on the back burner with the broken leg and surgery.
I am not exactly sure how you could take 1,000 words to answer this question or why you would even want to? Is it really even that interesting? I drive but would not be opposed to taking the T. Actually, that's a lie...I am generally opposed to taking the T because I hate that feeling of having to depend on someone/something to get me to or from an event. OK and I guess all of those gang-type-stabbing-on-train-movies have also influenced my decision some! I like having my own car. I just traded my Land Cruiser for a Prius...yes a very big change!! I'm still getting used to it! Love the trips to the gas station...or lack of trips ...depending on how you look at it. Banging my knee on the dashboard...not so exciting! Dragging a big piece of furniture out to my car only to realize belatedly that "Oh Yeah! It's the Prius now!" ...not so fun! But it's only happened twice, so there is hope ;) Ok...I'm all talked out about my ride now....
I have a Maltese that is the cutest dog in the world...I personally challenge anyone who claims to have one cuter!! He doesn't bark, and loves to socialize. He looks like an adorable stuffed animal...what more can I say? I LOVE HIM!! Hobbies?? Every time I hear this word for some reason images of knitting, needlework, and scrap-booking come to mind! Not that there is anything wrong with those hobbies if any of you like that stuff...I just have a problem with me doing them ;) Hobbies...hmmmm...can drinking wine be considered a hobby? Wine tasting? No I'm not an alcoholic...come on now! Honestly, I don't think I have any "hobbies"...I have interests...I have skills....but hobbies? I would have to say "NO"
I'm definitely "something!"....at least I hear that a lot from other people anyway!! LOL!! I am probably the only female on the planet that actually thought she was two years older than she actually was!! No my best friend also thought that...that's right...well she is blond so that is her excuse! I'm not sure what my excuse was...or IS!?? Honestly it wasn't until her boyfriend did the math for us that we had the record set straight for us...WHAT A DAY THAT WAS!! LMAO! To discover you are actually younger than you've been telling everyone! I was so friggin happy!!!!!! Anyway does is really matter which "something" I am. Tell ya what...why don't you guess when you meet me! LOL!
Reading about all of the fun events you guys have posted ...that and the fact that I have no hobbies and therefore should probably get out there and meet people who have hobbies so I can post something real in that spot ;)
I am a fun, funny, easy going person who likes to find humor in everything and who values a sense of humor in others. I function better when I can fly by the seat of my pants and quite often will deviate from the beaten path to forge a new trail ;)
Great group of people! I had an amazing time and by the end of the trip I felt like I had new friends!!! Can't wait to do it again!
