What do you do for Work and for Fun?

I guess it's a work in progress! I like writing and am interested in more history museum work, which as you may guess is pretty hard to come by. I have done some contract work before with a local exhibit design firm and have done statkeeping and blogging for local basketball leagues.

Do you drive or take the T?

I prefer to take the T, then drive in town.

What are some of your hobbies and do you have any pet(s)?

I don't own pets, but I do enjoy reading, movies, history, music, museums, trivia, discussing politics, and sports. I actually am a writer and have written and published baseball biographies. I also have written about local film festivals in a previous life. Not to mention having once lived in a museum in the Back Bay.

Are you 20, 30, or 40+ Something?

I am a late 30something. What more is there to know?

What compelled you to join this group?

A neighbor of mine told me about social fun! He went to the board games event at the Pru and said he met some nice people. I had been thinking about joining more meetups, anyway. I also am involved in the walking meetups.

Introduction

I have lived in Boston for over a decade now, having gone to graduate school in the late 90s. I would like to meet new people while making my life more interesting! I went to Northeastern for grad school (M.A. in history/museum studies).
