What would you like to see happen in this group?

With my bum knee, just about everything you've done/proposed so far sounds good -- other than not going to run or rock climb.

What are some of your interests & favorite activities?

Walking in the woods, gardening (veggies and other), cooking, photography, socializing, learning more about health and fitness, living sustainably.

What do you like to do for exercise?

Yardwork, walking, hiking (NOT the race-through-the-woods-with-only-time-to-watch-where-the-feet-are-going thing),swimming. Used to do tai chi and would like to learn some yoga (I do have a bum knee which limits some activities/movements). Plan to take up bicycling.

What has been some of your biggest influences for improving health?

Feeling far healthier on my current low carb (limited grains)/avoid-non-processed foods nutritional plan. Visiting a friend/extended family member for several visits on her sheep/goat/chicken farm.

When are you usually available- Weekends? Weekdays? Weeknights? Anytime?

Not weekdays during regular working hours.


I like dining on healthy foods made of non-processed ingredients as much as possible, and enjoy socializing with like-minded folk, who also like to get out of doors.
