About the Lead Organizer - Dan
I am a Vietnamese survivor of war. During the Fall of Saigon, in 1975, my family and I were rescued by American soldiers, then brought to America in order to start a new life. We were sponsored here by a handful of families from Churches. Having been blessed with the freedom and freedom of enterprise, I formed BuiBase (7 years ago) as a way to give back to America and to pay tribute to the 60,000 plus American soldiers that died for my freedom. Seven years later BuiBase has evolved and grown into much more. We are now building the same community under a new name Social Solace!
Solace means to give comfort or help to those in need.
I have been an entrepreneur for over 20 years; endured all the pitfalls of starting a business, but the struggles can not compare to the loss of even one American soldier. It is my passion to help American entrepreneurs realize their own freedom. We have chosen to help entrepreneurs with their local business because by helping just one entrepreneur succeed; tens, hundreds, or even thousands of jobs can be created for this great country.
We believe that free-enterprise is what makes America so great and it will be free-enterprise that will bring SOLACE (HELP) to all Americans. Fixing our economy is not easy, but our plan is to create an infrastructure that supports local businesses in order to create jobs as well as support community oriented organizations.
