    Part 2

This is the last of the news story. It had to be cut short due to the message character limit.) Ms.Borrego has been aware of the issues from the beginning and what's required by the lease." According to the eviction notice, the brewery has left empty boxes and equipment lying around the hallways of the building, located at 907 Franklin. The notice cites a public nudity instance, when a neighboring tenant accidentally walked in on a naked game of Twister happening in the hallway of the building. Borrego believes these are distractions from the true reason her landlord wants her out. She fears they plan to find a new tenant and raise the rent. Borrego says she's worked hard to keep the spirit of her bar unique, alive and fun atmosphere for the artistic crowd downtown. She hopes supporters will come Saturday, and says donations will be applied to legal fees she's spent fighting the eviction process. Borrego hopes to eventually re-open the brewery in a new location.

I trust you all saw this story on Ch. 13 News Friday:

DOWNTOWN HOUSTON BREWPUB EVICTED AFTER NAKED TWISTER
    Friday, August 22, 2014
    HOUSTON (KTRK) --
Late rent payments, trash and a naked game of Twister are among the reasons listed in a recent eviction notice, delivered to a downtown Houston brewpub. The Brewery Incubator is closing its doors after five years. The owner, Lucrece Borrego, is planning a going away party, Saturday, August 23. Friends and supporters are invited to join for one last "hurrah" before the eviction deadline, Tuesday. The lawyer representing the building's landlord tells Eyewitness News, "It's private communication. I can tell you we have agreed to allow an extension for the move." Charles Turet goes on to say, "This is not the only letter. The Video (which mentions that tickets are $35 for Saturday's event) is located at: http://abc13.com/business/houston-brewpub-evicted-after-naked-twister/276597/

    Sorry to see them go.

This was my fist event and I had lots of fun
Met some wonderful people there. The place was fairly small for the amount of people that attended.

According to the Facebook event, "...there will be craft beer specials fo' cheap!" There may be snacks as well, only southmorehouse presents knows for sure. Here's a tip for the hungry: Frank's Pizza is nearby on Travis, and they deliver.
