Sorry everyone for the communication problems! Obviously MeetUp is not an ideal way to meet up when their site is down. Tried to get a message out about where to gather, but alas, no luck. Anyway, I was there from 7:30p until closing, then looked for familiar faces at Revival around 9:30p, but didn't see a one. Glad Ed and Paul had a chance to connect. Next time!

Eh, meetup site was down, to it was hard to coordinate. I was 20 minutes late, and only met Ed. After taking a look at a rather disappointing exhibit, we tried to find you in the three bars listed here, and ended up drinking beer in Comal. Hope y'all had good time too!

Comal is a swank beer garden, the nicest i've been to thus far. While we sampled their ales of wisdom, Paul and I fathomed the vagaries of science -- reflexive to the predicament we found ourselves in, haha.

Also, a denial of service attack for a meetup is pretty pathetic/crippling. Next time i'm bringing a flare gun.

Sounds like we sort of have one vote for Revival after the event, which is fine by me. But I'll go with the majority, and it's not too late to chime in.

Berkeley is out of my realm of bar knowledge, so I'll just your judgment! I'm also up for either/both before/after :).

Glad to see a group is forming! Anyone up for a before or after event gathering as well? Here are some suggested spots nearby:

Triple Rock can get loud, but it's open late, as is the bar at Revival. Comal is only open until 10. So my vote is for one of the first two.
The url I posted on this earlier went dead

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
