Even though it says based in Sherman Oaks we do a big percentage of our rides through the Ventura and Kern county, so please do not hesitate to join us there. The other main reason is that all benefits & discounts that are offered to our SOR members are put up there. As well as discussions, riding tips, items for sale, you name it SOR does more than just ride!!
You must have a passion for motorcycles as a rider or passenger. Society Of Riders is a group for motorcycle enthusiasts who ride all makes and models from Harley's to Scooters. Our founding group in Sherman Oaks now has over 600 members and averages about 2 rides a week minimum and we do the same here in the Ventura County. This group is for riders of all levels who want to enjoy riding, making new friends, and socializing as a group. When we ride, we prefer to focus on the sights and friends and do not promote tearing up the roads. Our rides are researched and rated so there are no surprises in terms of difficulty (excluding road conditions and weather), nor will you be left behind. Join us for a ride and enlarge your social circle, whatever your relationship status. We have a consistent, broad range of rides that include Friday nights, weekend day trips, and over-night rides both in and out of state. Our group is unique because in addition to riding and making friends, we also raise money for a variety of charities. For those of you who don't know, we love to help one another in anyway we can from networking to just needing some help lifting a safe down some crazy stairs..lol we are here for one another.
