My primary interests in philosophy are ethics (bioethics, environmental ethics), history of thought, philosophy of mind (particularly consciousness), existentialism. origins of life, and political philosophy. The area where I have least interest is in Formal Logic.
All philosophical questions and all topics of philosophical interest are fair game from my perspective. I have less interest within the branch of philosophy known as Formal Logic. Of particular interest is a broader, deeper understanding of the universe that can account for science, philosophy, and theology.
I have broad interests in humanity and the human condition. My academic concentrations include human geography, psychology and philosophy; my graduate work in philosophy is in ethics and bioethics. Professionally I work is as a teacher.
Great topic. Nice attendance, good discussion again, and new minds and voices.
