Socrates Cafe Louisville Meetup

A Socrates Cafe is simply people getting together to ask philosophical questions with the purpose of (maybe) getting a better understanding of the topic, philosophical inquiry, and realizing our own preconceptions. The discussion begins by people proposing questions to discuss; we vote on which question to use and then simply talk about it. Some possible questions include:

    Gun Laws In America:

    We all know what happened, a couple of months ago, in Conn. Knowing this, should guns be banned in America, outright? As in no one is allowed to have a firearm of any kind? Why? Why not? Should the Second amendment come into play? What do you think would happen, if guns were banned?
