Sorry I couldn't attend, I won't be able to go til December and believe me I'm missing it!

Thanks to Elina and others who made the evening a true café. As for technology, shut down your computer now! Leave your cell phone. Spend a few minutes off the grid.

Is it ethically correct that I bring some Dunking Donuts to the meeting? It can be subject of the new discussion. Our office had "good-bye" to summer celebration and these are the left overs.

Highly ethical, Elina. Socrates himself liked to munch ντόνατ, preferably with sprinkles, when he walked with Plato.

That's good to know. Evenings are hard for me.

Yes. During the summer, we hold two Socrates Cafés on Sunday mornings at 10:30. Occasionally, these also occur during the school season. None are scheduled so far.

Enjoyed participating in the debate on the pros and cons of the communication-related technology. Would like to thank Jim Tosone for the superb job he did tonight.

I missed the meetings over the summer and, unfortunately, I have another commitment for this Monday. Hope to make next month.

You will not be disappointed. It is not a philosophy class but a living, practical exercise in critical thinking applied to whatever question those present select from the choices generated the evening of the meeting. Should be fun.
