At the Schaumburg Microsoft .NET Technologies Meetup ( I listened to Uncle Bob (Robert C. Martin) describe the need for independent organizations to help accreditate software development professionals.

I think that is a great idea let's start one!

    I think that question #1 in my mind is how the IBSE accreditation will differ from existing certifications. A lot of the certs out there are, at best, not indicative of technical or communication ability. It's to the point where I totally disregard certs, and sometimes if I see a bunch of them on a resume, I see them as a red flag.

      Well I dont know how many female are member of this organization if any?? I have just made an observation! I am suggesting to change the name of this organization to something that would be welcoming and appealing to both genders if the main goal of this organizatio is peer coaching and empowerment!
