A day in Dungness

Dungeness is one of the largest expanses of shingle in the world and is classified as Britain's only desert by the Met office.

Dungeness, a strange land of extremes, one of the most valuable and yet vulnerable nature conservation sites in Great Britain.

Dungeness is unique - no boundaries, a desolate landscape with wooden houses, power stations and lighthouses.

We will spend the day taking photos while i teach you composition, the rule of thirds, bracketing, camera gear, camera settings and how to look for right light.

I will spend an equal amount of time with all members to ensure you come away with some great images.

This will be a relaxed day with a break in between for lunch at The Pilot Inn, they have a great menu.

I have made the start time 10:00am to allow for travel.
We will be finishing at 2:30pm as it gets dark around this time.

Hope to see you all there.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
