Web Analytics w/RJ Lindelof

Whether you work for a large company with insane amounts of traffic or you have a personal site with minimal visitors, analyzing the traffic to your website or web application is one of the most valuable metrics you can have. Whether it is how you acquired that visitor, important visitor technical details, visitor behavior or in regards to an ecommerce site a conversion.  There are many tools to analyze your web traffic, this talk will focus on Google Analytics and Mixpanel.  Guests can expect to leave knowing how to implement both tools, the power they offer your business, different use cases of each tool, best practices and lessons learned.

About the speaker

RJ Lindelof is internet entrepreneur, developer evangelist, technology enthusiast and innovator. He has been writing software professionally since the early 90s. While proficient in many languages and technologies, his current passion is web development. He has used Google Analytics since 2005 and received a certificate from the Google Analytics Academy.   When not working you can find RJ enjoying the outdoors at his cabin in central Wisconsin, the only place he "disconnects" from technology.

That is interesting. After reading the documentation, the first question that comes to mind is, Why isn't this enabled by default? It seems that the answer is non technical.
