Project Design

The objective of Project Design is to determine the best overall plan which balances architecture, schedule, cost, resources and risk. Project Design affects System Design, since sometimes Project Design poses certain risks on integration points, which we might be able to mitigate by changing the System Design.

Project Design eliminates gambling on feasibility (can or cannot be done), death march (code like hell and hope for the best), wishful thinking (we genuinely believe we can do it in a year) and expensive trail and errors.

Thanks Ally, it was another very interesting meet up tonight. Its totally worth the time just by knowing the tool that can do the project scope analysis. Plus there are heaps of more interesting content. :D

Ally gave a very good intro to IDesign and its proven concept. Looking forward to another interesting discussion with Project Design.
