Topic: "Let's Talk Testing, An Open Discussion"

The Ruby/Cucumber Demo has been postponed for the July Meetup.  We apologize for the inconvenience, but are tentatively planning to reschedule for August.

This month, we will be holding an open discussion format for the evening.

- Have a problem you are trying to solve?  Or even a general question about testing or test management?  Bring it to the group and let's see if we can use our collective brain power to help each other out and share our experiences.

- See anything interesting from the testing community recently you would like to share?

- We can also take a few minutes to pick a topic of interest and hold an informal discussion.

Come ask questions and share your experiences.  When we exchange knowledge we help each other become better testers!

This meeting is for:

- Seasoned QA & Testing Professionals

- New testers starting out

- Anyone interested in learning more about Testing

Note:  Since the time of our meeting is around dinner, feel free to bring your own food, snacks, drinks, or whatever you need to stay energized for the night.

Thanks for the opportunity to get involved. Great group, great discussion. I learned a ton, and got a good feel for what concerns people are finding in their environment.

Hold onto these idea a little longer as the Ruby/Cucumber demo has been postponed for the month of July. Most likely, we will be moving the demo to Aug.

We are two week away! Time to start thinking about possible web sites to automate and possible tests to run. Early into the meeting we will be throwing out a list of candidates and vote on which web site we will be working on for the demo.

@Damian - love the test sites!!! Do you have any test cases already in hand that we could use?

I had some long, long ago for the Mercury Tours site, but they're lost to the ages. Don't have any for the other 2.

I am a Quality Assurance Analyst/tester and have only had the opportunity to be a manual tester. I've heard this is becoming more popular in the automation world. This sounds like a great opportunity to actually see how it works!
