What's Bugging You About Testing?

This engaging and interactive discussion will focus on things you, testers, struggle with in your everyday environment. Come armed with the frustrations you face as you try to help your organizations deliver high quality solutions. Bring also the tips and tricks you've found to be effective so that you can share your ideas with others who may benefit from them. The speaker will facilitate this discussion and offer thoughts and perspectives from his own experience in an attempt to provide attendees with concrete strategies to take back to their companies.

Our speaker:
Robert Walsh received his B.S. from Mississippi State University in Secondary Mathematics Education. Over the course of his career, he has been a teacher, a hardware technician, an IT director, a trainer, a programmer, and a business owner. His unique blend of skills in education, technology, and business allow him to communicate effectively with people in different roles within an organization. He is able to relate to each of them as individuals and to capitalize on each person's specific goals and desired outcomes. As a trainer, Robert has presented sessions on software development and testing at many conferences since 2004. He has written and co-authored articles in journals including Windows Developer and Software Test and Performance.

Note: Turner is hosting this event, so be sure to go to visitor parking and then check in with the receptionist.

Hey gang, I'm coordinating this meetup at Turner. Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow. Please join in person if you can, the workshop will be better that way, the pizza will taste better too.

Tim, are you still wanting a remote connection? Anyone else need this?

    May 28

    • Tim W.

I was on the road earlier but am at a stable connection if available.

Dah! I can't make it tonight. My wife has something important planned so I need to watch kiddos.

I can setup a GoTo Meeting, if we need it!

I'll let you and Eric work this out, since I'm going to miss it. :(

Hey, Tim, I'll tell you what, if we get 3 or 4 others that can't make it physically, we'll set up remote access. Fair enough? At the last two Meetups, we went through the trouble of setting up remote access and nobody joined remotely.

Yeah, I had the day wrong on my calendar initially so wasn't expecting to come, then it turned out I could have come if I'd had the date in the calendar right at the last m inute... but I hear ya. If it would just be for me, just let me know I'll save you the effort.

I might actually be able to contribute online for this one... if remote is available.
