Seeing Animals as Individuals ... "Seeing Nature" Reading and Practice

We are reading Seeing Nature by Paul Krafel.  Free copies are provided to those who attend the session. Our practice mirrors that presented in the book and entails close, mindful observation of nature.

We'll start this session by discussing the first chapter in the book entitled, "The Mistake of the Sand Fleas".  We'll follow that short discussion with 10 minutes of mindful observing nature practice and then share our experience with the group.  Finally, we'll share ideas about how to integrate mindful observation of nature into our daily routines.

Just Shelley, baby Ren, and I this time. It turns out it's still great even with only two people :-)

This is one of the most interesting books I have ever read, but it looks like I had my notifications button off. Sorry - would have liked to attend!
