Soundpainting is coming to the Boulder Hackerspace! The Playground Ensemble regularly hosts soundpainting in Denver, but this month they'll be coming up for a session at SSD. Here's the description from their website:

"Bring your instrument and come play with the Playground as we host an evening of genre bending new music!! Soundpainting is a live composing sign language created by New York composer Walter Thompson for musicians, dancers, actors, poets, and visual artists working in the medium of structured improvisation. Participate as a player or composer/ conductor. It doesn’t matter how old you are, how long you’ve been playing, what instrument you play, or even if you can read music. Rock, jazz, classical, folk, bluegrass, electronic- all genre’s are welcome. Professional, amateur, beginner. It doesn’t matter. We want you there!!"
