My friends say I have an eclectic taste in music. Ballads, classic rock and roll, show tunes, country, 40's, 60's, motown. I've been involved with another meet up music group for about two and a half years. Want to try something different. I picked up the bass when I couldn't sing, but I am quite the novice. If this group can help me learn how to do walking bass lines that would be very cool. I"ve been in theatre productions, classic rock bands, open mike bands, (singing lead and back up). I'm a soloist at my progressive liberal church. I was developing my own band when my surgery put a halt to all things creative. I belong to the Music Development Club meet up. It's for novices who want to learn to play with others. But pretty much that is all I've done. I like to play and sing in social settings or at other people's homes.
Hello. I've been a singer all my life. I had throat surgery last October. I was devastated that I could not sing. after the surgery. I've gotten my voice back, but not 100 percent. The more I sing the more I improve!
