Restorative and Hatha Yoga w/ Carol Hince

These gentle poses can
• reduce stress
• boost the immune system
• deeply affect other body systems
• bring about deep relaxation

Props such as blankets and bolsters support you in floor positions. NIH studies with Restorative Yoga report a decrease in BP, HR, blood sugar, bad cholesterol and triglycerides. No prior yoga is necessary. This class is half Restorative and half Gentle Therapeutic Yoga. Gentle Therapeutic Yoga synthesizes Iyengar Yoga, Integrative Yoga Therapy, and Carol's knowledge of Physical Therapy. Compassion and guidance are offered for those with limitations.

Every Wednesday, 5:30pm-7:00pm, 4 classes/$56, drop-in $20
