What we’re about
Songwriter's Cafe is a local, SE Michigan-based songwriter Meetup group centered around realizing songwriting aspirations. It aims to dovetail with already established local songwriter groups, as Songwriter's Anonymous (Livonia), A2jammers (Ann Arbor), and others, by providing an additional outlet for members to communicate with each other, month-in, month-out as to what their songwriting goals are, as well as to share with each other, any songs in the workshop part of each event, regardless of how far along to completed the song is. This Meetup group is for songwriters who like to discuss process, and re-connect regularly, encouraging each other on in pursuing their goals. I hope this group will become a community among communities of songwriter circles, furthering connections and enthusiasm. Songwriter's Cafe meets regularly online monthly, and hopefully, will in the future include both in-person and online events.
