Introduction
Been singing and playing since about Grade two, and ended up on the road with some of those same kids after highschool. Just monkeying after that. But who knows! Maybe music will be my "retirement career"!
What music styles do you write / compose / produce in?
I enhance other people's stuff more than I actually write any of my own, though I've thrown a few little things together when duly inspired. I guess it's a folky kind o' blues with some African or otherwise complex rhythms thrown in for good measure. I have a diploma in Music Production from Fanshawe College (about 30 years ago), so I guess I'm more a producer/arranger than writer.
What do you hope to achieve by joining this group?
It would be fun to meet some like-minded folk to create music with. I sing bass/baritone and fool around on keyboard, guitar, and African thumb piano (kalimba).
