Could you please introduce yourself?

What music styles do you write / compose / produce in?

What do you hope to achieve by joining this group?

By joining Songwriters Cafe Toronto, I hope to immerse myself more fully in music creation and performance, by attending events where I'll have an opportunity to connect with other songwriters and musicians. I am particularly interested in roundtables and open mics, as I prefer to connect, mostly, with small groups in somewhat intimate settings. Ultimately and literally, what I hope to achieve by joining Songwriters Cafe Toronto is a greater sense of ease with respect to sharing my voice and my songs at large in the world; to desensitize myself, as it were, to the practice of performing (and generally sharing, otherwise) my music. Not entirely of course, but to a degree where it is more bearable and hence more likely. ;)

How did you hear about this group?

Google found it for me, when I typed "Toronto songwriters" into the search bar. :)

:) I find this part quite awkward. Okay! So, hello faceless and as-yet unknown members of Songwriters Cafe Toronto! My name is Blue (aka Kim Anderson). I am a Celtic and Ojibway folk/pop singer/songwriter in Toronto. That wasn't so bad. :)
