PNW Songwriter’s Summit
Keynote Presentation by John Roderick and Kathleen Edwards

The inaugural PNW Songwriter’s Summit will bring together the top music creators from the Pacific Northwest region and beyond to explore the art, the craft and the business of songwriting. Attendees will select from workshops, discussions, presentations and review panels to hone their songwriting skills and build their music industry business savvy.

Sessions will focus on multiple subjects including crafting lyrics, placement and pitching, melody and song structure, alternative revenue streams, building a fan base, songwriting reviews and more. Song submission guidelines for songwriting reviews and full event details available on (SUBMISSION DEADLINE MARCH 29).

Complimentary admission for Recording Academy and GRAMMY U members, $50 for non members

    I thought it was great and urged PNW Grammys Chapter to do this annually or at least biennially. The Summit attracted a diverse crowd of songwriters, other musicians, producers, music business types (managers/studios/entertainment lawyers/companies/radio stations, etc). I"d also urge all SiS members who qualify to join NARAS (the Grammys). Thanks to Chris K for being one of the organizers.
