UPDATE on Locations:

If you want to shoot the race downtown, Meetup with CHAS at 2:30 pm on the corner of B and 8th streets - he will be wearing a hat and a Reddish/Burgundy Shirt. Anyone meeting up w/ him might have a look at his photo pg to see what he looks like. The shot of the guy in the Vineman tee-shirt, drinking the bottle is Chas. If you can't find him Monday you can ring him on [masked].

When you meet him there you can decide what vantage point will be best, whether you stay on the ground or head up to the top of the parking garage for that 'above view' perspective. you will be a few blocks away from the finish line, and all the vendors and activities. Be sure and look at the map attached to this meetup announcement that shows the road closures and the parking lots that will be open and closed....

If you want to shoot the race on Bennett Valley road, meet Remy at the Safeway Parking lot on the corner of Yulupa and Bethards no later than 115 pm. They will be closing Bennett Valley road east of the golf course by 2pm so I do not want to get stuck there and have to walk in! lol We will have a bit longer to wait but we will have our own cars and some pretty landscapes to shoot. No Vendors out there that I know of so if you need snacks or water, please plan accordingly!

What I don't know is how long Bennett Valley will be closed to vehicles once the riders make their pass...Once you drive in, I'm guessing you are there till they tell you you can leave!

They are saying "chance of showers" so layer up and bring your protective gear if you have that...
