I enjoy nature, wildlife/flowers, animals/zoo photography, landscape photography, and historic or iconic subject matter. I really enjoy Yosemite National Park.
My equipment currently includes a Canon 6D, a Canon 7D Mark II, a Canon 7D, and twelve lenses. I have a Canon 50mm F1.8 lens, a 17mm-40mm (L Series), an 18mm-55mm, a 24mm-105mm (L Series), a 28mm-135mm, a 55mm-250mm, a 75mm-300mm, and a 100mm-400mm (L Series). In addition, I have four Sigma lenses including a 10mm-20mm F3.5, a 50mm F2.8 (1:1) macro lens, and a 150mm-500mm, and a 150mm-600mm (Sports Model). I also have a 1.4x converter, a large selection of lens filters, a set of extension tubes, and diopters. In addition, I have four external flash units with wireless trigger capability. I have several light reflectors; intervalometers, remote shutter releases, and five continuous LED light panels. I also have over ten studio lights with numerous muslin studio backgrounds, including a “green screen” background. I have specialized Chroma key software, and over a thousand photographic background options. I use Manfrotto tripods (4) and monopod equipment.
Experienced, but learning how to take better photographs every time I go out to shoot.
Hi I’m Michael, retired now and enjoying photography more than ever before. I am interested in photographing animals, landscapes, botanical subject matter, historic or iconic architecture, and my favorite, Yosemite National Park.
