What kinds of events/places do you like to photograph?

I shoot primarily intimate landscapes - as opposed to big vistas or sunrise / sunset shots. Sonoma county has a lifetime of subjects for me but I do like to travel / camp / and just do road trips to stimulate my creativity.

What kind of equipment do you use?

I shoot a Toyo View field camera (4x5) and use primarily my 135mm for a normal look, but, also like the 210 and 90mm. I use only Fuji Velvia 50, unless there's a real need for latitude :-). I do have a Nikon D200 that comes in handy and is a whole lot of fun.

How would you describe your level of experience?

I have experience in pretty much all aspects of photography, yet I don't consider myself a master in any particular area. I've printed in pro labs, have had several B&W darkrooms of my own, I've printed RC, Fiber, C, R, Cibachrome, and now inkjet. I'm proficient in scanning / printing / color management / lighting/ framing, etc. However, I find a niche and learn what I need - then it's all about just shooting. I'm not a big researcher - just a shooter :-).

I've been shooting for 20+ years. I made it my career about a year and a half ago. I primarily shoot landscapes but would appreciate a group's enthusiasm for other subjects :-).
