Introduction
My wife (Carolyn Stark) and I recently moved to Santa Rosa from Rancho Mirage, CA. I began serious photography in 2008 and began selling my photographic images in that year.
What kinds of events/places do you like to photograph?
My photography is primarily landscape and architecture. I use High Dynamic Range (HDR) imaging and software to change my photographs into "paintings." So many people have told me that the resulting photographic images look like impressionism paintings, that I call my images "Modern Impressionism Photographs." I have been creating and selling these images since 2008. My photo images include well-known landmarks, such as Pt. Cabrillo Light Station and the cliffs and beaches around Mendocino, CA; Muir Beach near San Francisco, CA, and the wineries of Sonoma County, CA.
What kind of equipment do you use?
Nikon D-40 camera and assorted lenses and equipment.
