"Fallen Patriarch" Many great photographs were posted on this site of this tree that leaned on the Taylor Family headstone. The pictures have good symbolic value, as well as texture and composition. Today, as we walked our dog through the Rural Cemetery we discovered the oak had fallen. The soil around the tree was damp from a week of rain, and supporting roots appear to have shriveled. It seems appropriate to post this photographic epitaph to our photography meet up, and visit to a tree with a curious symbiotic relationship with the gravestones around it.

All trees are beautiful, well maybe not palm trees.
