    Hi Paul & Tom; Thanks for your comments. Regarding this image, I wanted to investigate the outcome of a low angle shot from approximately 3 feet from the bow of the sail boat and inches above the water. Anticipated a wide angle lens (20mm) would provide the needed perspective. Since my camera was attached to a monopod, shot at ISO 5000, 1/200 sec, f/4.5, these settings would account for camera shake ands quality of light taken at twilight. Handheld the monopod about 3 feet from the edge of the boat launch and about 3 inches above the water. Laying on the boat launch, the reflection of the mooring rope, anchor chain, and lights from the distance homes suggested a unique and interesting perspective. The rest was figuring out how do I go about getting the shot.
