Alternative Hike: Sugarloaf Ridge

Join us as we enjoy the magic of Sonoma county, including trees and wildflowers along the Hillside, Vista, Pony Gate, Canyon and other trails. We may also see waterfalls along our 6-mile moderate route. The elevation gain is 800 ft. (3 1/2 hours with lunch stop).

Sponsored by Team Sugarloaf and Valley of the Moon Natural History Association. Special thanks to Leigh for allowing us to post our hikes with the Wanderers.

Eric was asking me where I obtained my CA State Parks pass. Here's the info:
    CA State Parks Foundation,
    50 Francisco St., suite 110,
    San Francisco CA[masked]-7275
    email: [masked]
    website: www.calparks.org
I have the CA Parks Experience Annual Pass.
I wonder if we can post this elsewhere on the Wanderers site?

What a wonderful introduction to the trails in Sugarloaf, and the Bob and Laura hikes. The uphill climbs were more challenging than anticipated, but the views made it totally worthwhile. The lunch spot was so fantastic and the camaraderie was superb. What a way to start the weekend. Thanks to all fellow hikers

Bob, you chose a wonderful arrangement of trails for our hike - going in the opposite direction was a great idea!!! Thank you and Laura for a lovely morning outing.

Thanks Laura & Bob for a great hike. It just doesn't get any better than a morning in the sun stretching a muscle or two & chatting with the good peeps of the group. The wildflowers & views & waterfalls were great too.

Interesting variation on the Sugarloaf experience. The luncheon at the waterfalls was as lovely as it gets. Thanx Bob and Laura.

Super. I had previously covered much of the same ground but in the opposite direction, so it seemed like a "new" hike. Thank you Bob and Laura.

Anyone want to meet at dirt pull-off before heading up hill on Adobe Cyn Rd? With a parks pass? Instead of all those cars trucking up the hill? As we do in all other Wanderer hikes ) meet there 0915?
