Serious Wine Geek Tasting Thingie

This is a small event for the major wine geeks in the group.  A member requested that we have a very specific kind of wine tasting and he will donate his house for the event; so, here it is.  The theme is wine from the Mediterranean sea area; any country that touches the Mediterranean is OK for this.  Pick a wine that has been rated 88 or better by some famous guy or publication for this.  Also, you will need to do some homework before the event.  Find some tasting notes, description or whatever will make you sound smart when you talk about your wine.  The intent is more to learn about different wines than to have the best wine of the group, so there will be no judging thing, just a whole lot of critiquing.  To make this work it needs to be kept small.  Please only RSVP if you are really sure you can make it and there will be no guests allowed this time; everyone needs to be a member.  Along with the wine, you will need to bring some kind of food thing to share with the group.

Please don't be too upset if you don't get a spot in the RSVP list; this is an experiment and will grow in size if it works out OK.

The only thing missing is the clipboard and little evaluation sheet to small write up about the wines we drank. To remember the names. Not judge. Just saying!!!

A wine flight for the grapes of the Mediterranean Sea was a great idea - and I didn't even need a passport or have to worry about the boat in rough water!

Hey kids, please take 5 min too google your wine and cut a paste a page full of info like avg weather temp, hills or valleys, anything that sounds interesting so we can learn a little about the region you picked.
Be aggressive in finding something interesting. There are no bad choices!!!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
