This is an all day event. Wear good walking shoes. We will be inside & outside. We meet in the lot at DiRosa. Then shuttle(carpool) for our 10:00am first stop at hidden and not well known "Quarry Hill Asian Gardens". At 11:45 am we will have our picnic with wine on the grounds. We leave to make the 1:00 pm Tram at the gatehouse gallery at DiRosa. This is a 2 hour tour that will make your head spin. Cameras are ok w/out flash. It's a crazy place. The bay areas largest art & pseudo art exhibit & collection in Ca. peacocks howling, cars hanging from trees, angels flying overhead, a Kaliedeoscope wall, a smoke ring machine, new exhibits, beautiful 35 acre lake with an island & cows grazing on the water. Strange paintings, murals & don't miss the "Battle of San Francisco".
After this we hurry off to Cornerstone Place. It's listed in the pub. "1001 gardens to see before you die." I wouldn't go that far, but it is very cool. Then we are off to two nearby wineries for touring & olive oil & wine tasting.
You can now collapse ; it's 5:45 pm. Go home and rest.
All this for only 59 bucks. Check or cash at time of event.
