Due to lack of early signups (and a great event that came my way) I am going to change this event to piggy-back on the holiday open house event at windsor oaks vineyards held earlier in the day. From 3:30 until 4:30 (or until kicked out) I will be available to chat with all interested people about event hosting possibilities. I will have a get together later in January when things are less hectic to go into this in more detail.
This get together is for group members who are interested in taking on an active role in our group event creation. You don't have to be fully committed to this role, but should at least have a genuine interest to find out if you may like it. As an Event Organizer, you are able to create and host SWIG events using the Meetup web site. There are no limits as to how many event organizers there may be, except to keep it at a manageable level. The main advantage to taking on this role is that you can plan the events that you want to do that also fit your schedule and then have full access to the SWIG members to get some nice folks to do it with you. It's great for you and great for the group.
