What homebrewer doesn't dream of going pro and starting their own brewery?! But who has got the drive to really do it? Come find out. This meeting will be a celebration of our local homebrewers who are in the process---many of them are creating, or have already created, nano breweries in our local watershed. Dino D'Argenzio, owner of the Wineyard and Heritage Public House in Santa Rosa, will host us for a private educational meeting at his new beer bar. Meet the brewers, taste the beers, hear the stories and feel the passion upon which the craft beer movement is built.
At this meeting, we will also be tasting several Brown Ales (American and English versions) produced by the club during the BIG BREW event in May.
We are also very happy to have Ken Weaver, author of the recently released "Northern California Craft Beer Guide" at this event. He will have a table with the new book and will be discussing it with any interested members. The book will be available for sale, so this will be a great time to buy your personal copy and get it autographed!
If you are planning to attend, please be conscientious before you drive over. This is not a beerfest, but it is a beer tasting event. You may want to plan on eating beforehand and/or a safe way to get home just in case.
