We expect to have the new A77 2 for this event. It should be great for soccer.
Great sports photography demands great lenses and lightning fast cameras and Sony offers both. This workshop is a chance to try out the latest Sony cameras with the latest top of the line lenses.
I have a couple photo passes for the Toronto Football Club game at BMO Field. If you're a Sony camera user, or even a Canikon user but would like to try the latest Sony camera, this workshop is for you. Passes are limited but add your name to the waiting list because I often get additional passes.
Bring your own Sony camera, extra memory cards and extra batteries, and a monopod, we'll have additional gear for you to try and Sony staff will be on hand to answer questions about your photography and help you create great images. You don't have to own a Sony camera to attend this event but you do have to use one at the event, so Nikon and Canon users are invited. If you don't have a Sony camera to use, let me know and I'll arrange one for you.
This event is outside and runs rain, shine or bugs. Please dress for the event. You will have to sign a release at the event saying if you get hit with a ball or injured in any way, it's not my fault. You will be standing on the sidelines along the endzone for the whole game, with a press pass, there is no seat.
Attendance and "No Shows". If you can't make the event please cancel 24 hours before the start of the event. If you fail to cancel you'll be recorded as a "No Show" and if this continues, you'll be dropped from future events.
