Thanks Kevin. I could drive myself. but let's just see how money pans out in my career. Wish me luck in the acting for all my auditions!!

I might be down for that Kevin! I wanted to go to the costume bash dress as the Corpse Bride, but couldn't really afford the gas from Thousand Oaks and the ticket price of $10. "Nightmare..." is one of my FAVORITE all time movies!!

Well just a heads up the El Capitaine is downtown LA (I'm sure we could find a way to get you there, I've got a Prius so gas is cheap for me woo hoo!), and genral admission is $12 to $14 dollars, up in the balcony. VIP and floor is $23. Check out the website and you can see how it's laid out :-D

I was a meetup virgin, had a great time. Sorry I didn't get to meet everyone individually, but I'll be there next time. Oh, I was the unoffical Walter White. Not sure if this is the best place to post, but thought about seeing if a goup wanted to go see Nightmare Before Christmas in 4D at the El Capitaine sometime. I haven't been in about three years and want to remedy that! Cheers!

So, now it's time to post who you are and what you came dressed as so we can all add each other as friends. I was dressed as Heinz Doofenshmirtz (from Phineas and Ferb)

Since today is my Birthday I would love to be there tonight, but I am clear hell and gone down in Santa Ana. It would be nice if guys started doing these a few times a month in other locations around LA/OC

I'm on call tonight so I'm going unless I am stuck at the hospital. Better to RSVP than just show up no?

    October 18

  • Connie S.

Thanks Joshua. I live in Thousand Oaks, so it's a bit of a drive. Maybe if I had a date for the night, I could be convinced in coming! P.S. I'm an actor too! For reals!

I'd love to come. I'll have to see if I can by then. I'm 53. Is that too old to join the party? I'm a very young 53!!

I'm almost 47, you better not let your age stop ya :) There are a lot of age groups at these parties and a good time is had by all. Hope to meet you there, Connie :)

How old is Doctor Who again? If he showed up, I don't think anyone here would kick him out. :-)

      October 17

  • Connie S.

Thanks Kimapult. I'm still not sure if I can make it. I live in Thousand Oaks. Where do you live? Any chance of car pooling with you?

    October 15

    • Kimapult

I live down the street from the galaxy, so not available for carpool. Sorry

ATTENTION SOULGEEKERS! I have a bit of a dilemma. The power supply on my Xbox 360 has unfortunately crapped out. My Xbox 360 with the massive, massive Rock Band library. Is there anyone who can let me borrow their Xbox 360 power supply for the night?

Specifically, it's an older style 360 (not the Slim). An Xbox 360 Elite with the HDMI port. Those have a grey brick power supply that's slightly smaller than the ones that launch-model 360s have. The model number for the power supply is HP-A1503R2. You can find it on the bottom of the power supply, near the top of the label. It's very small print.

If you can help, please email me at [masked], or shoot a tweet to @BenPaddon. I'll need it for the night, from about 6:30pm to midnight. You can take it home with you. I'll buy a replacement before the first Singles Night of 2015.

    Thanks!

Hi. Thanks, H, for your kind reply. What's your name btw? Here's the thing, I've always considered myself a Geek of sorts. My friends and I called ourselves "Piping Hot Post Peace Punks" in the 80's. I like to dress up as the Corpse Bride every Halloween lately. I'm open to learning geeky games. And I think Anime is cool. I love Aeon Flux, if that could be considered Anime.
