This experience was extremely valuable to Angelas' development as an Artists and now teacher. Angela is currently active in the Music Industry and is involved in a couple of dance projects, plus her own soulful Jazzy original material soon to be released.

Angela graduated from Sussex University in Experimental Psychology [Bsc Hons],is a trained Radio Journalist and has completed a music workshop skills course at Goldsmiths University[08/09]. She directs an adult choir in Ruislip and is happy to say that in a short space of time the choir have had successful public performances including the Watford Collossium. Angela also teaches kids and teenagers singing. She currently teaches teenagers at Community Music,Brady Arts Centre, Whitechappell, London and has found that her group singing workshops seem to leave the participants feeling exhilerated, positive and motivated; and not only that- it's a fun social event.
Subject: [Soulful-Adult-Singing-Group] SING UP & PRAY FOR PEACE ON THE STREETS! PEER PRESSURED YOUTH & STRESSED OUT ADULTS NEED HELP!
This Singing group was initially inspired by my concern with youth,gun and Knife crime- I took the appropriate training and joined forces with Choice FMs PEACE ON THE STREET CAMPAIGN;many members of the community met up to discuss[ some heated heartfelt discussions took place] what could be done about dissaffected excluded youth, lack of opportunities in some poverty striken areas, drug barrons using 'lost' kids, police stop and search tactics, governments cuts etc.. The question that DJ and Presenter Richard Blackwood was asking is- What can the commumity do now to help turn things round? What can inividuals like yourself do? Does one just chat about what should be done, criticise this and that and simply not do anything or does one use their talents and skills or simply meditate and pray for peace and guidance,not just the youth[ who are ever more demonised by the some media etc] but for those adults who are feeling so much pressure themselves they can not 'engage' with the youth positively.
This was about 3 years ago and although many music and arts initiatives had been put in place to keep the kids and youth occupied and to help those youth who themselves became young parents but had no parenting skills etc, something is terribly wrong with the 'MINDSET' of many- not just the youth. Many are feeling enormous pressure and have been on edge for some time-it was only a matter of time that the final trigger would kick things off; and combine this with kids not having anything to do,opportunists stirring things up with the use of social network sites and technology and hard times economically- the result is what we are seeing on our TV's- riot crisis.
I just hope there are no fatalities, though I heard a man had been shot last night.Materialism will not matter in the future. All I know is we can't take this anger and hate in to the next Chapter of this world.We need to raise the vibrations in to a higher positive conciousness to bring the hope for the future and take this forward to the next chapter. All that has been happening, in my opinion, seems strangely deliberate- for example,why would PLAN B and TAKE THAT perform a 'visualistion' of a RIOT at the start of this year at the BRIT awards? It's important to combine debate and discussion with positive action. Please utilise your talents, pray or meditate to change the present negative vibrations. Please do this before NOVEMBER and prepare to SING like you've never sung before! We'll need to prepare for the opportunity to make things better...
