September Lunch

Let's get the Souls in the Center back in the saddle after a great, easy summer. We can meet in Pierce Hall and talk about what we would like to see SITC become as we enjoy lunch with the church.

Great seeing everyone and the lunch was good too. Next time, a room where we can all talk and be heard

I look forward to tomorrow. We ask: Where has the SITC been and what can it evolve into?
Do we Are interested in events that occur on a regular basis? Lunch? The advantage is consistency. Then add social activities? Volunteer opportunities? Frisbee golf?
I have an idea: The Phoenix UU church has 'Afterthoughts' right after the service. A discussion group about what the sermon had brought forth personally. Only a half hour. SITC could 'sponsor' such a thing.
Our description, '30s to 50s' is wide open. Otherwise are we parents? Singles? LGBT? Straight? As proud members of All Souls Unitarian, we certainly have common ground. But what do the SITC members need of this group socially and spiritually? What brought us to the UU way and how can we support each other?
I hope we can have a good conversation about what Souls in the Center can continue to become. -Wallace
